The brief

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a group of competing independent media agencies united to support the industry. Above Digital was commissioned to design a central online destination for the "Land of Independents" campaign. The primary challenge was to create a functional directory that allowed potential clients to easily discover, filter, and contact the most relevant agencies for their specific needs, all while maintaining a cohesive and forward-thinking brand image.

What we did

Above Digital developed a bespoke, responsive website that serves as a high-performance hub for the nationwide campaign. Integrating beautiful illustrative work by Creature London, the agency focused on a design-led user experience. This included building an interactive filtering system—allowing users to sort agencies by staff size, location, and financials—alongside a simple A-Z listing for direct discovery.

The platform was built on a custom WordPress CMS to ensure ease of management and was backed by a robust digital presence strategy. This involved careful SEO optimisation and Google Analytics integration to track engagement as the campaign rolled out across billboards in London and the wider UK.
