Space & Time are a proudly independent, client-focused media agency with clients spanning a wide variety of sectors, and industries. As a large agency, their service portfolio covers a range of training solutions, as well as a variety of media campaign services.
Being a modern agency they felt their previous website felt outdated and fell short of accurately representing the personality of the business, so we were tasked with coming up with a fresh look and feel that better communicate the brand ethos.
The aim was to modernise their online proposition, creating a website that better engaged visitors through a high impact, bold, brand focussed design, and a refined user journey.
scoping and design
Through a series of meetings, we developed sets of mood boards, delving deep into Space & Time’s brand. We worked closely with the team to establish keywords, visual ideas and an overall framework in which we could start to think about the brand in the context of the website.
As with many of our client’s projects, we established that some work needed to be done to modernise the brand message, using the website as the catalyst to look at how Space & Time represents itself to new clients. By the end of the scoping process, we had a clear set of directives and goals to aim for, setting the course for the wireframe designs and user experience work to follow. As always the time we take in extensive scoping helped the following steps progress smoothly, until we had a set of wireframes to design the site around.
The final step in the design process was to put all the work we had done around the brand and mood boards into an engaging website interface design, bringing everything together, producing an in-depth set of designs that detailed both the desktop and mobile versions of the website.
Our experienced development team was put to work, taking our designs and scope notes and turning the designs into a working site. The functionality of the site included interesting ‘card sliding’ modules that gave the appearance of content elements sliding over one another.
As always the site went through rigorous testing on both desktop responsive mobile devices.
